It is a travel document valid for one (1) year and issued to Kenyans to enable them travel within the East-Africa region.Requirements for Temporary permit
- Original ID and a copy for Adults or Original Passport and copy for adults
- Original Birth Certificate and a copy for minors
- Two Passport Size photos
- Prescribed fee
Ensure you are using your eCitizen account to apply for your own Temporary Permit. Applications applied on behalf of others will be rejected !
During the submission you need the following:
- Download TWO(2) copies of the Temporary permit application and TWO(2) copies of the Invoice.
- Applicant in Person.
- Original ID card and its Photocopy or Birth Certificate & its copy for those under 18 years.
- Two Coloured Passport-Sized Photos.
Application Steps
- Register for an e-citizen account
- Fill online application
- Pay prescribed fee
- Print two (2) copies of the duly completed application form and two invoices
- Attached copies of required documents
- Submit at the nearest Immigration office (for Airport) or at point of entry/exit
